Jodi Lipka is Counsel to the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group. Jodi counsels high net worth foreign and domestic individuals with respect to all aspects of estate, gift, and charitable planning. Jodi drafts sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and charitable trusts.
Jodi solves unique valuation and administrative issues for clients, who range from business and real estate owners to artists and art dealers. She cultivates collaborative professional relationships and offers a high-touch experience, where clients trust in her to pay special attention to—and anticipate—their needs.
With experience preparing legal memoranda, Jodi has worked on matters relating to international, federal, and state taxation, as well as nuanced estate and trust matters. She also has completed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filings, prepared formation documents, drafted governing documents for corporate entities, and handled gifts, loans, purchases, and sales to grantor and non-grantor trusts.
In her pro bono practice, Jodi assists clients by forming, organizing, and actualizing not-for-profit entities, and helping them apply for federal tax exemption.
