Evan Ross Kaufman is Counsel in the firm’s Trusts & Estates practice group. He is a dedicated trusts and estates attorney who advises individuals, families, and fiduciaries on wealth preservation and wealth transfer planning matters.  

Evan regularly assists clients with the execution of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, tailoring each client’s plan to reflect their unique goals and family dynamics. Additionally, Evan advises executors, trustees, and beneficiaries with respect to probate and trust administration processes.  

As a part of his wealth preservation practice, Evan helps clients to implement strategies that are designed to mitigate their tax liabilities and to protect their legacies from the claims of potential creditors in the future, utilizing a multijurisdictional approach where appropriate.  

Prior to joining the firm, Evan was Counsel at two Am Law 100 law firms, during which time he consulted on amendments to the Nevis International Exempt Trust Ordinance, co-authored several articles on asset protection planning, and was a founding member of the Southwest Florida chapter of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners.
