Covid-19: Provisions of the CARES Act Pertaining to Mortgages and Evictions

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (“the CARES Act”) provides relief to owners of certain properties secured by federally backed mortgage loans by delaying required paymentsand protecting against mortggae foreclosures, and temporarily prohibits certain tenant evictions.
