Bio

Sandra Brown Langolf is Special Counsel in the firm’s Trusts & Estates Litigation Practice Group. She regularly counsels fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and distributees in contested and uncontested probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accounting proceedings, fiduciary removal proceedings, trust construction matters, discovery and turnover proceedings, and other trust and estate disputes before the Surrogate’s Court and trial and appellate courts. 

She has extensive courtroom experience and regularly appears in courts throughout New York State. Her practice includes handling matters involving complex financial issues, including forensic accounting and asset tracing, through all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Sandra served as Senior Counsel at Rottenstreich Farley Bronstein Fisher Potter Hodas LLP, where she represented clients in high-net-worth matrimonial and Surrogate’s Court litigation. She previously was a Partner at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP, where she maintained a broad civil litigation practice and managed teams handling complex matters throughout New York State courts.

Sandra also served as a judicial law clerk with the Special Court for Sierra Leone, assisting Trial Chamber I on matters involving crimes against humanity and violations of international law.

She is a frequent speaker on litigation and trial advocacy topics at continuing legal education programs and national conferences. She is admitted to practice in New York and Texas, and before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Sandra is an avid runner and cross-country skier. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
