Heather S. Milanese is an Associate in the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group, specializing in probate, estate administration, estate planning, elder law, and wealth preservation.
With years of experience guiding executors, administrators, and trustees, Heather provides comprehensive legal support to ensure that fiduciaries fulfill their responsibilities effectively. Her commitment to delivering clear and compassionate guidance helps clients navigate every stage of the estate administration process, from managing complex probate matters to advising on trust administration.
Heather is also dedicated to developing personalized asset protection strategies, collaborating with clients and their financial teams to safeguard their families, estates, and businesses. She offers valuable counsel on legal and financial considerations for life’s various stages, including Medicaid eligibility planning.

She also honed her skills at boutique law firms on Long Island, gaining valuable experience in trusts and estates law. During law school, Heather interned with the Hon. Leonard D. Wexler, Judge in the Eastern District of New York, the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Heather is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, where she belongs to the “Elder Law and Special Needs” and “Trust and Estates Law” Sections. She is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County.
