The Corporate Practice Group at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP recently represented IPVideo in connection with the sale of its business to Motorola Solutions. IPVideo, a long-time client of the firm based in Bay Shore, New York, is the creator of the HALO Smart Sensor, an all-in-one intelligent sensor that detects real-time health and safety threats. The representation was broad ranging involving many of Meltzer Lippe’s practice areas and included representing the Company and all of its equity owners during an intense and complex sale process.
The transaction marks a return to the Long Island area for Motorola Solutions after its sale of its Enterprise business to Zebra Technologies nearly 10 years ago.
The Meltzer Lippe team on the transaction was led by Ira R. Halperin, Corporate Department Chair, along with Alexander M. Gayer, Christopher M. Armstrong, Thomas J. Waldron, Phillip Pepper, Kelly Fitzgerald and Patricia Del Rio.
