Stephen M. Breitstone and Jerome M. Hesch to Speak at ACTEC Summer Meeting

Meltzer Lippe Attorneys and ACTEC Fellows Stephen M. Breitstone and Jerome M. Hesch will speak on “Trust Basis and Promissory Notes In Life and At Death” on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the ACTEC Summer Meeting in Washington, D.C. Their topic evaluates the income issues that arise when the grantor of the trust dies and recommends what the proper treatment should be as there are no court cases that have resolved these issues.

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) is a nonprofit association of select lawyers and law professors skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts; estate planning; and probate procedure and administration of trusts and estates of decedents, minors and incompetents.
