Bio

Stephen W. Livingston is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation and Crisis Management, Investigations & Constitutional Law Practice Groups. Stephen has broad experience in commercial and construction litigation before state and federal courts as well as appeals and arbitrations.  He has represented corporations, partnerships, shareholders, and individual clients in a variety of matters including construction litigation, construction arbitrations, partnership disputes, employment disputes, Dodd-Frank, commercial contract disputes, commercial torts, commercial real estate, and Stark Law. Stephen has also represented clients in patent disputes in federal court and before the International Trade Commission. 

Prior to joining the firm, Stephen began his career with the law firm of Lynn Gartner Dunne LLP where he tried several cases before state and federal courts.  While working there, Stephen was part of a team that successfully defended several multi-million dollar patent cases on behalf of a multi-national client.

Stephen is admitted to the New York State bar as well as United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

Stephen and his wife Karen grew up on Long Island and are raising their three daughters in Suffolk County. Stephen enjoys sports including being a former lacrosse player at the University of New Hampshire and now as coach for his daughters’ soccer and lacrosse teams. He also is active in the West Islip Dads group that is dedicated to working to provide assistance to underprivileged members of his community.
