Ryan J. Johnson is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Ryan has broad experience
in civil litigation, construction law, corporate counsel, and strategic risk management. He brings
a practical, business-oriented approach to legal representation, combining litigation experience
with years of in-house counsel work advising companies on contracts, compliance, disputes,
and day-to-day operations.
Throughout his career, Ryan has represented contractors, corporations, architects, engineers,
and business leaders in complex legal matters ranging from litigation and appellate work to
contract negotiation and regulatory compliance. His experience includes serving as General
Counsel and Assistant General Counsel for a major New York construction and service
companies, where he worked directly with executive leadership to manage legal strategy,
mitigate risk, and support business growth.
Ryan earned his J.D. from Hofstra Law on a full academic merit scholarship and received a
Public Service Certificate at the Gold Level. In law school he participated in the Hofstra Law in
DC program where he worked with U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and
Government Reform with Elijah E. Cummings. He has remained committed to advocacy and
public service throughout his career and his personal life. Ryan attended Temple University,
where he graduated with a degree in Political Science with an Economic Certificate and Minor in
Philosophy.
