Robert S. Plosky is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Crisis Management, Investigations & Constitutional Law Practice Groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Robert spent more than a decade at a nationally renowned securities and consumer class action law firm in Manhattan. His efforts helped recover hundreds of millions of dollars for aggrieved investors and consumers. Robert then joined a boutique law firm on Long Island, where he counseled businesses and healthcare providers in disputes with competitors, employees, and regulators. He later opened his own commercial litigation law firm, which allowed him to work closely with prominent attorneys throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Robert has successfully litigated matters before state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country. He was a law clerk for the Senior Judges of the District of Columbia Superior Court, including the Honorable Eugene N. Hamilton. Since 2014, Robert has been selected as a “Rising Star” by Thompson Reuters, Super Lawyers.
Robert is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association, where he is a member of the Commercial Litigation Committee; a volunteer attorney in the Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic; and a mentor in the Attorney-Student Mentoring Program. He is also a regular on-site volunteer with Nassau County Habitats for Humanity and an Associate Member of the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County.
Robert lives on Long Island with his wife and two daughters.
