Jeffrey Deutsch is a Partner in the firm’s Trusts & Estates Group where he practices in numerous areas of estate planning, charitable and non-charitable gift planning and succession planning for a varied client base, including ultra-high net worth families and their businesses, as well as high net worth individuals.
Having practiced in public accounting for several years, Jeffrey brings valuable experience as a Certified Public Accountant by advising clients on issues relating to asset protection and income and gift tax aspects of corporate and commercial transactions.
Jeffrey is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey practiced Trusts & Estates as counsel to a mid-size Manhattan law firm for a number of years and prior to that he was an associate at a major national law firm.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn College and his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a senior member of the Journal of Law and Policy.
