The client designed, manufactured and supplied gate, door, hinge, latch, and fence hardware products throughout the United States. The seller’s principal will remain with the business as a 30% owner and Chief Executive Officer of the buyer.
The Meltzer Lippe team on the transaction was led by Ira R. Halperin, Corporate Department Chair, along with Alexander M. Gayer, Raymond J. Holst and Kelly Fitzgerald. The transaction required a dedicated legal team to meet the demands of a fast-paced transaction that was closed less than two months following the execution of the letter of intent.
