Mary P. O’Reilly Named Among Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 Notable Diverse Leaders in Law

Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP is pleased to announce that Mary P. O’Reilly, Co-Chair of Meltzer Lippe’s Trusts & Estates practice group was recognized by Crain’s New York Business as one of its 2022 Notable Diverse Leaders in Law.

The list of honorees features 80 attorneys who “excel in their practice at New York’s leading law firms” through both their counseling and pro bono work and their commitment to “community service, philanthropy, professional mentorship, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.” All honorees themselves represent diversity in the workplace — including women, people with disabilities, African Americans, Latinos, Asians and other underrepresented groups.

As Co-Chair of the Trusts & Estates practice group, Mary manages, counsels and mentors a team of 25 estate-planning attorneys across the country. As the first female equity partner at Meltzer Lippe, Mary guides individuals and family businesses on preserving and protecting assets and minimizing taxes. Committed to mentorship, she advises dozens of young attorneys at the firm, emphasizing the path to success for other working parents. Mary participates in the American Bar Association and sits on the board of Our Lady Victory School. She has planned professional development events in concert with the Hofstra University School of Law.
