Sean Eccles is Counsel to the firm’s Elder Law Practice Group. Sean represents fiduciaries in all aspects of the probate and administration of decedents’ estates. Sean also drafts the panoply of estate planning documents.
Prior to joining the firm, Sean was an Associate in the Trusts and Estates Department at Ronald Fatoullah & Associates and operated his eponymous law firm where he practiced extensively in drafting estate planning documents and handling all aspects of estate administration.
Prior to his career in the field of law, he worked in the nonprofit sector of New York City, overseeing the implementation of grants issued by the New York State Department of Health that enabled community based organizations to assist in the Medicaid enrollment of low income New Yorkers.
In Sean’s pro bono endeavors, he serves as one of the New York-based attorneys for the Home School Legal Defense Association, a Virgina-based legal service provider.
Sean is engaged in his community, having been a volunteer youth baseball coach for several years and a volunteer high school teacher of history, literature and reasoning for a private alternate education co-op. Sean lives in Brooklyn with his wife and three children. He is an avid reader, hiker and life long Mets fan.
