Bio

Ronald J. Dwyer is an Associate in the firm’s Construction Practice Group. Ron assists clients in all facets of their contractual and construction related disputes, from filing and prosecuting mechanic’s liens in connection with both private and public improvement projects to forming and negotiating contract documents. Ron also aids lenders to navigate environmental issues in connection with commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions (CMBS).

Ron earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he was the recipient of the Veteran’s Clinician Award for outstanding clinical coursework and client advocacy. During his law school tenure, Ron was a judicial intern for the Honorable Frederic Block at the Eastern District of New York, a legal intern at Douglas & London, P.C., and a member of the Dispute Resolution Society.

Prior to law school, Ron received his B.A. in Economics from Fairfield University. He also performed work as a Project Manager with Kelco Construction, where he led teams of tradespersons on projects including the landscape renovation of the United Nations Headquarters in New York, New York and the Rockaways Beach Restoration in Far Rockaway, Queens.
