Christopher M. Armstrong is a transactional and tax attorney with experience representing private and public companies in connection with various business and finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, corporate governance, securities and regulatory compliance, company formation, corporate restructurings and general business law.

He regularly represents domestic equity investors, real estate developers, property owners, REITS, publicly traded companies and closely held businesses (and their owners) in connection with joint ventures, corporate and partnership tax planning, real estate tax planning, and business planning. His practice also includes assisting clients with structuring 1031 exchange transactions, organizing special purpose entities for securitized financing transactions, advising clients on preferred equity financing transactions and generally advising clients on federal and state tax implications relating to real estate projects.
